V-Ring type A
Profile A is the most common and available for shaft diameters from 3 to 1000 mm. The Trelleborg V-ring® is an all-rubber seal for rotary shafts, rotating with the shaft and sealing axially against the stationary counterface. Its light lip pressure generates low friction. It can also be used as a secondary seal to protect primary seals that do not perform well in hostile environments.

Commercial Description:
The properties of the nitrile rubber depend mainly on the ACN content which ranges between 18 % and 50 %. In general it has good mechanical properties with an operating temperature range of between -30 °C and +100 °C (for a short period of time up to +120 °C). NBR is mostly used with mineral based oils and greases and is a good choice for standard applications.

FKM is an elastomer material known especially for its non-flammability, low gas permeability and excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and aging. The operating temperatures of the fluorocarbon rubber range between -20 °C and +200 °C (for a short period of time up to +230 °C). FKM is also often used with mineral based oils and greases at high temperatures.
